Fallout 3 Game Add-On Pack: Operation Anchorage and The Pitt Review

Operation Anchorage was the first downloadable content for Fallout Fallout 3 is too complex to explain in a game here, suffice to say that the paranoia and jingoistic patriotism of 1950, a permanent way of life has become because of the escalation of war nuclear energy between communist forces and the Americas. Operation Anchorage fills the history of the game Fallout pushing the player into a turning point in history: the liberation of Alaska from Communist China.
This is not really a supplement to Fallout as much as sneak a complete mini-game more in the mood for games Clancy's Tom-and-shoot. The order includes a series of attacks against Chinese forces in a changed climate of drafty Arctic. There are soldiers, who ordered the fight on your behalf, so some rudimentary squad tactics. There are mutations and therefore mutant Wasteland not irradiated and therefore does not apply to radiation, and only the equipment deliveries AnchorageYou. This is a completely different game with a similar interface.
And here he insinuates is critical. It 'was a shock for my twentieth character level of Fallout, its huge arsenal of medicines and equipment regularly ripped off by snipers, who had often failed a tactical advantage. In fact, all opponents are much more difficult, even the invisible Crimson Dragoons. I asked, after several threats remain near a distributor of health and click on it every few lapsI was struck by fire Dragoon. There were several points of the game where I died several times with the concept of brute force, and finally forced to crawl my way through most of the content. In summary, Operation Anchorage gave me a good dose of humility.
Anchorage has two elements that will change your experience with Fallout 3. The first is the T-51B Power Armor winter holidays. One of the most powerful weapons in the game (DR 45), is never damaged. The other point is the standoutGauss Rifle, which has a circumference, use micro fusion cells and causes creatures to be exploited for four seconds on a critical hit.
Words can not express properly satisfactorily complete a Granfiamorte beaten in the face and go to see in the air from a cliff located. These four seconds can be a lifetime on a battlefield, giving a critical advantage to fight fellow player, who continue to beat players away vulnerable targets, with tanks, and the right incentives can beat an opponentaround like a hockey puck.
Operation Anchorage is not like the rest of Fallout 3 and this could be a crossroads for some. But the Gauss rifle and Power Armor makes it worth it.
Part of the genius of Fallout 3 is that it blends in 1950 with the post-apocalyptic atrocities sensitivity, the perfect balance between humor and horror. With Pitt, the balance shifts decisively against the nihilistic, more and Swan Song and The road less Beyond Thunderdome.
As Operation Anchorage, the player enters the former Pittsburgh stripped of weapons and armor. He pretends to be a slave. Admixture between the slave, the player must make his way through the hole, a series of arena battles against enemies and more difficult. My character high-level tore right through it in record time.
Surviving several laps in the Hole grants a hearing with Assyria, the head slave trader and a former Brother of Steel. In fact, this book is betterapt, because Assyria has created a thriving economy with a Pittsburgh steel mill churning out weapons and armor.
It soon becomes clear that things were a bit 'less black and white and the rest of the fallout are uneducated. With the population largely sterile because of degeneration of the infection troglodyte, Ashur Standing on slave labor as a short-term solution to its labor problems. Those are quite difficult to climb, the slave traders in slaves and bullying join RaidingCommunity. The twist-ending demands a sadistic choice with no real winner or loser. And 'as bleak as it seems.
Even as Operation Anchorage, The Pitt is one of the best melee weapons: the Mauler. A self-locking to cause permanent damage beast of a gun, gets the blood and guts everywhere Mauler, but then, Killin messy work.
That sums up enough to The Pitt. I felt a little 'dirty play after it.

In Fallout 3 is released I rushed to buy, and it was immediately one of my favorite games. After many hours of game Fallout 3, I had to stop playing because I had to play on other games. I recently had back during the weekend. Because of this I bought this expansion pack. I had hoped that this would have renewed my love for this game. Unfortunately it was just a bit 'true.
The first phase was the worst of the two. It 'nice that the story continues after the end, butwas removed from the original formula. The expansion has been centered in the fight. Although this is unsatisfactory, since left the combat system leaves much to be desired. I am not saying that the fight should be at the level of "Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden his, but not enough to make a game around the base are missing. There is also the story / depth that the main action was. It also has the feeling that your decisions affect much less Than other parts of the game. I know I sound like I say that this is aterrible game, but this is not just disappointing.
Fortunately, he came with a second piece of content. This extension would seem to be included in the game. If you enjoyed the original game certainly enjoy this. It has many weapons that you need more time with Fallout for a while '. It is not so much to say about this game except the game is very fun.
Overall, if you really liked the main screen of the game is safe to say that you really enjoy thisGame, but just something that I liked the game I recommend renting this game.
