I use this wide-mouth sealer several times a week. I have saved a wide range of things: nuts, chocolate, flour, salsa, simple syrup, crackers… The best part is that when I open something I’ve canned (pickles, applesauce or jam, for instance) I can seal it back up and it lasts much longer. (Please note: this does not equal the original state that the canned product was in. Canned products that have been opened must be refrigerated after sealing with this product). Lids are very inexpensive and can be purchased separately (without the jars and rims). I always heat my lids (just as I do when I can) to soften the wax seal.
