Culligan FM-15RA Level 3 Faucet Filter Replacement Cartridge Review

Short ‘n’ sweet: Works well, doesn’t leak or break (unlike others we’ve tried), has a good flow when it’s new. On the other hand, lasts only two months (approximately), flow slows to a trickle as it nears the end of its useful life, and is apparently non-reusable and non-recyclable, so you throw a big, heavy chunk o’ plastic (and whatever else is in there) into the trash every two months. Ouch.

Culligan FM-15A Level 3 Faucet Filter Review

When my faucet aerator recently broke, I decided that instead of looking for a replacement, I’d try this product and also benefit from improved water quality.Installation was so easy. It took me literally less than a minute to have water running through it.The water pressure through the filter is somewhat reduced, which tells me that it actually does something. In my case, it’s sufficiently strong to fill up a cup of drinking water without too much delay.The automatic diverter is really a sweet feature. The product could probably be made sightlier using a chorme housing, but this is not the most important thing to me in a water filter.
