Similar to some other reviewers, I attach my thumb drive to my key chain and have had several that while they still work as thumb drives, the casing didn’t hold up to day-to-day wear and tear and could no longer be attached to my keychain. This drive is very sturdy and I have had it for several months already without any signs that the carabiner is weakening. It looks great and is tough, which is perfect for my needs. In terms of speed, it works for my purposes – day to day documents and a once-a-month back-up of critical files (about 2-3gb takes 20 minutes or so)

I purchased this item on Nov. 1, 2009, and it worked great. . . until today. None of the three PC’s I plugged it in even see it. Disk Management in XP or Win7 doesn’t find it either. Pretty high price for 3 months usage.
