Epson B071121F Perfection 636 USB Scanner (PC/Mac) Review
I’ve been using this scanner for over a year now, and still like it very much. I bought it to replace a two-year old Umax parallel port scanner that was making me crazy with its glacially slow scans and hard-to-use software. The Epson Perfection 626 USB was much easier to install, does much faster pre-scans and final scans, comes with software that is a joy to use, and does scans that are a very high quality. The only problem I’ve had with this scanner is that sometimes after using my HP PhotoSmart Photo Scanner, the next time I try to use my Epson document scanner, I can’t use it until I reinstall it within Windows (which just takes a few minutes).
