Epson Perfection 1260 Photo Scanner Review
Well i’ve read the reviews here and i here what your’e saying. I agree it’s not the fastest on the bloc nor is it absolute satate of the art, and the Software could have been better, but it does do everything it’s supposed to do , and the features are pretty good espically the ability to scan a mix of images on the glass and put them in individual files. May i say that most of the negative comments here relate to setting up and installing the scanner correctly, all those wierd colours and stripes are most often caused by wrong proceedures and plugging & unplugging usb hardware , switching off everything & restarting the Computerwill in most cases get things on an even keel. The Twain software in the Manual mode works better in some applications than others, Ulead PhotoImpact did a good job …
Memorex 6142U Flatbed Scanner Review
Gosh…I have upgraded my computer countless times, and upgraded my monitor 3 or more times (from CRT to small LCD to larger LCD) etc…..this scanner of 10 + year old is still going and going and going…..when is this scanner going to break so I can upgrade… lol….
own this scanner since the late 90s or leary 21st century…(around 1999-2001 I think…during the time I was living in a different town, I have moved 4x since them….)
color is fine. scan at 600 DPI is fine….almost always connected to power and I am surprised that lamp in it is NOT broken yet……
I wanted to upgrade..but don’t want to throw out something still working… lol……
