Lenovo S10-3 0647-29U 10.1-Inch Netbook (Black) Review

This machine is very little. Bought to replace my aging IBM / Lenovo X60, which my road warrior has been in years. First he tried an Asus 1005, because they are so good reviews – that a mistake! The keyboard was terrible, with little capacity to respond and how ** small right shift key that I just could not be used to receive. And I really had problems with the touchpad, but I thought it was just for me, as I have been using the TrackPoint on my X60. So I took the plunge and bought Lenovo S10-3. ThatJewel! The keyboard is wonderful! Great feel and responsiveness. The shift keys are normal size and the distance and layout of the keyboard is all perfect. And it feels very solid and well made – no sagging or flex and the touchpad has won me over too. The scroll works fine (and only when I want – no more scrolling scroll unintentional or return after I stop) and the cursor control is very consistent. OK, I need to use two hands to drag and drop, because Ican not work with the left mouse button with your thumb and index finger while my very quiet. I think it's beyond my fingers ablilities old rigid.

As usual, it takes a couple of garbage that comes preloaded with the machine to remove. Wi-Fi is good, but I have not traveled a lot with this netbook. Video playback is much better than the Asus – very little stuttering or freezing. Battery life is excellent, but the load time seems a bit 'slow. I can livewith this.

All in all a spectacular machine. I wish Lenovo would try first! Who wants to buy an almost new Asus?
