Apple Wireless Keyboard (Retail Packaging) Review

Like other reviewers, I initially bought this keyboard for the iPad, and was very pleasantly surprised to discover it works with my PC and my iMac as well. This nifty little keyboard works pretty well, I must say. And it requires standard AA batteries, of which I already have quite a few rechargeable ones, so it’s not going to stretch my budget in any way. The width of this keyboard is a little smaller than my standard one, and so it may take a little to get used to. On the other hand, I really love the feel of the keys on this keyboard. All in all, it’s an excellent keyboard.

Great keyboard to match my new mac mini paired with a Dell ST2210 monitor. The keyboard has a small form factor and looks great. The Bluetooth setup was a breeze. After using the keyboard for about a week I noticed a small dent above the F3 key, it was hard to see but I could feel it. I called Amazon on a Friday afternoon and had a replacement keyboard on my desk by Monday afternoon. Great service.

This is a great little keyboard, I just wish apple would make one that has the number pad to the right, but that is not why this review is four stars. Overall this thing is solid, looks fantastic, and easy to use on the go. Just wish it was about an inch longer for more comfort with hand placement.
I bought this to take with me on the go with my new iPad and now have expanded it to use with my macbook when it is docked. I know my ding is a bit nit picky, it does have a factor in my rating, as to use this as a primary keyboard daily would be rough.

The Apple bluetooth keyboard was purchased to pair to a Nokia N82 cell phone. The phone has screen reader software installed on it and is used by my brother who is blind. Pairing was difficult because the instructions included don’t apply to this device. I did find instructions that worked on the internet. Once I actually got the phone and keyboard to pair, a new world opened up for my brother. He was able to completely control the phone with the Apple Bluetooth keyboard. After I got the software settings correct, the keyboard worked, and continues to work, flawlessly. It is small enough and rugged enough for him to take it wherever he goes.
