Apple Wireless Keyboard (Retail Packaging) Review
I really like this keyboard, but found that my Ipad kept coming on by itself in my briefcase, ending up discharged later on. Finally I realized what was happening. The keyboard was turning on the IPad. If any key is depressed inadvertently when the keyboard is loose in a case or briefcase, it will “wake up” the Ipad. So you have to remove the batteries on the keypad when transporting it in a case. Either that or disable bluetooth on the iPAD.
The second flaw is that when you turn bluetooth on and tell the on-screen keyboard to go away, the on-screen keyboard won’t come back even if you’re not using the external keyboard (even if it’s turned off). It’s a pain to go into the setup to turn off bluetooth ever time you stop using the external keyboard, but …

this product is easy to set up and easy to use. the only down side is that the mouse does go through batteries rather quickly, but we chose to buy rechargable batteries to defray the cost. even with that noted i would recommend this product to anyone.

I love this keyboard. It’s everything I wanted. Small, thin, with nice, shallow, soft touch keys. I shopped and tested many keyboards to find one that was close to the touch of my Dell laptop keyboard. The close position of the keys does take a little getting used to, but I needed something this small to fit on my desk.
I’m not sure why some said it was cheap construction. It feels very sturdy to me. And the color is great.

I’ve read in some google searching, that this keyboard wouldn’t completely work with a Mac. I took the risk and can’t regret it. It’s an awesome keyboard for my MacBook Pro. Good keys size and positioning, very efficient cushion base, apparently very well constructed and beautiful (and it has some minor Mac keyboard icons on ALT and Windows keys). The typing is silent and very enjoyable.As some pointed, you cannot use the Logitech software to configure the extra keys with user defined actions on the Mac OS X, but a lot of them works without any software or extra driver. Just plug the (very tiny) usb receiver and you’ll get the “Next”, “Prev”, “Play/Pause”, “Stop”, “Vol Up”, “Vol Down”, “Mute” and “Turn Off” buttons working.
