This is great for instant satisfaction. You can print directly from your camera or from the computer (and it is Mac compatible). But you pay 2-3 times what you would for a print from, for example the iPhoto mail order shop or other online printing services. That’s the consumables cost. Ink and paper sets for 108 prints cost about , that’s where the number comes from.

So, I use it for the “hey, I want a print right now” times and use the online services for “I have a list of thirty photos that I want to have prints made for.”
