Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 with Vibration Feedback (Black) Review

Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 with Vibration Feedback (Black)
Some years back I got tired of keeping all my old game systems connected (nintendo, snes, genesis, etc), so I created a PC for emulation to play all my old games from a central location. I used to use the gravis gamepad pro (PS style controller), and it worked great. Recently I upgraded the machine to play my old Nintendo 64 games and needed an analog stick, so I made this purchase, and it works flawlessly

1 Drawback however: I would have like to have seen the D-pad be like a real cross (I had the same issue with the gravis gamepad pro), and not a “webbed cross” or “disc”. When playing older games, your thumb can slip and instead of pressing right, you’re really press more down because part of your thumb is on the “webbed” part between the right direction and the down direction. This drawback however, may be to your benefit depending on what you are doing/playing so take it with a grain of salt. Also keep in mind that if it really bothered me that much, I can always undust the old games and hook them back up.

Just ok – SkyKidFalken –
This is not a product for the people that loved PS3 and Xbox 360 controllers

Great product, some drawbacks – Manny –
I bought the Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2 to play pro evolution soccer 2010. its a great gamepad with plenty of programmable buttons, however not fully customizable to this game in particular, especially the analog direction controls. one of the back buttons gets stuck if you press it from the bottom and not from the middle. and not all games give you vibration feedback, like pro evolution soccer. and the bulkiness takes some getting used to, especially if you want to use all the buttons.

Nice controller – AnneMarie Wichman – Menasha,WI USA
I was amazed at the weight of this controller. The last controllers that I played with were bulky and heavy. This controller is lightweight and a bit smaller. I have never been displeased with a Logitech product so far and would recommend this to anyone who needs a wireless controller.

Logitech MX 518 High Performance Optical Gaming Mouse (Metal) Review

I have had this mouse for about 2 years. When I read reviews there are very few that have long term experience with a product, so I had to comment on this one since I’ve had it for years. Having someone tell you a product is great when they’ve only had it for 2 weeks is not extremely helpful or comforting. I really want to know if what I’m about to buy will die in a few months or go the distance.
I’m not sure the one I own is the exact same model but it looks identical and has the same features as what’s described. But since mine is over 2 yeras old they may have changed it slightly over the years. I just wanted to let users know that I have used this mouse constantly for years and it has …

Razer Mamba Wireless Gaming Laser Mouse 5600 DPI Review

So I went from a Logitech Trackman Marble Mouse to this beast and I am very happy with what I recieved, as I should be for the rather crazy price.
When you get it of course you’re very excited, but to boost the excitement even more the case looks like you just bought a rare ruby worth[...]. You’ll see the mouse mounted in this plastic “presentation” box. All the manuals are tucked away conveniently inside. So, as far as packaging goes, amazing. Touches like that are what make you feel like you got your money’s worth.
So you start to unpackage it and it’s…..easy. You get a stellar USB cord (gold-plated USB, as advertised, as well as a special cord designed to withstand some kind of torrential storm possibly), a charging dock, and obviously the mouse. Let’s cover the mouse first:
The design is beautiful. …

Logitech G35 7.1-Channel Surround Sound Headset Review

Great headset. I downloaded and installed the most recent Windows 7 x64 drivers from Logitech’s website before I plugged in the headset. I have had the headset for about one week. I have really enjoyed the headset. I wouldn’t consider myself an audiophile or perfectionist when it comes to audio because I have some hearing loss. But I really love the (virtual) surround sound that the G35 provides. It makes playing games great. I have also enjoyed using the headphones for listening to music and watching shows.
So, I only have a couple of marks against the headset. First, I wish that the shortcut “G” keys would allow you to do more with them. By default for me they were all set to open iTunes. That may be because iTunes was the only music player software I have installed out of its list, which is …
