Sango Nova Brown Square Baker Review

Sango Nova Brown Square Baker
It seems what it is supposed to do. I cooked Lasagnia in it and turned out nice. That is too bad that Sango Blue is discontinued. We have all the set for our dinnerware and we bought this because of that.

Do not waste your money – M. D. Merkel – Alameda, CA
I went through my kitchen and replaced just about all my dinner ware and serving ware with Sango Nova Blue ware. It was quiet pretty and looked terrific when serving different dishes. The blues really made the food pop visually. Unfortunately, within a year, just about all of the dish ware was destroyed. I do not have a dishwasher, so everything is hand washed, but that should not make any difference anyway. Everything was developing micro cracks within months leaving me with chips on just about everything. When the dishes started falling apart (and I do mean that they would fall apart just sitting in the cabinet, just holding them when washing, or even while serving dinner) I had had enough. I threw at all away and replaced everything. While it looks pretty, this stuff is truly junk.

Very handy, I use this all the time it is the correct size for two of us. Bakes and clean up is easy.

9 inches square AT THE TOP – f. – wdc
I should have realized this, looking at the images but I didn’t and hopefully, this will help someone else not make the same mistake. Yes, this dish is 9in square at the top. The bottom, however, is 6.5in square … not so great for recipes that call for 9in-sq pans, and don’t expect the bottom of the pan to be half as big, in sq inches!

Funny how it’s hard to find a true, straight-side, 9in pan (at a decent price) and hard to find a recipe that calls for anything but a 9in pan. Maybe I’ll find some use for this pan but it won’t be brownies. It needs to have a volume measurement … and the description says, in one place 9in, and in another, 7in – which is probably a better average estimate!
