I have this camera now for 12 months. I agree with the positive reviews about video quality and ease of use. However, when it comes to PC connectivity, this camera is not easy -! The only way to get your videos on your PC is supported by the software. You can not stream video live and you can not use common software such as Movie Maker or Windows Media Encoder to capture live video or edit the recorded video (HD). The computer appears to the camera as a recognitionAVC-compatible device – but no more. And if it is supported by the use of software – sucks! The software is very complicated to use, uses a video format very rare (a MAC file type TOD) and video editing software has very limited, but also the changes of the base. If you need to convert your videos to your PC – be prepared for a tedious job.

I am very happy woth this product. The picture quality is excellent, the controls intuitive rather than my camera last … The changes in the settings is much easier. This was the least expensive 3 CCD camera, I found, but was about half the price of 3 CCD Mini DV camera that I bought several years ago. It 'pretty amazing.

I used this camera for about three months. What I like best is the clarity of the picture – if there is enough light. Nature scene looks very nice and realistic. The 120 GB hard drive is very nice because all the clips are in a similar screen like a digital camera so that the whole scene look different digital photos

What I want is better support for low light conditions. But you get what you pay for.
