A Clockwork Orange Movie Review – Starring Malcolm McDowell, Patrick Magee and

"A Clockwork Orange" is a disturbing film set in a violent world in the near future. The film concerns Alex DeLarge (Malcolm McDowell) and his band of "Droogs", the performance of all morals go out at night "ultraviolence". The language in Nadsat an imaginary futuristic dialect of English spoken.

The film begins in London, where Alex and his gang beat up an old beggar on a bridge near the River Thames. Continue to do the most terrible acts, including against a rival gang, terrorizedDrivers on a tie highway, and against rape and a writer at his home and his wife. Alex ends up alienating the rest of his band, so that plot against him. Finally, she betrayed him by police after breaking into a house and killed a young woman.

Alex spends the next two years in prison. While there, he hears of an experimental procedure such as Ludovico technique, which apparently makes bad people good that you can never return to prison. Decidesthe procedure which lasts two weeks. The process includes, as an experimental serum that produced a negative reaction to violence and forced to watch violent movies since. By the end of his treatment he was cured unless it is violent, even in defense. The treatment also has the unwanted side effect Alex did not go when hearing Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, which he used to love crowds.

The day is free, it reveals terrible for Alex. First,the temptation to go home, but finds his parents have rented his room and not allow him to return. He tries to fight the new tenant, but is sick in the process. Then you walk down the street he found there the same old beggar, who recognizes him and harassed a group of elderly men. The police come to break the fight, but the police turn out to be nothing more than two members of his old gang, beaten and killed him quickly.

Without this, Alexare back in the house of the writer who does not recognize him because he had worn masks and members of his gang. The writer about his treatment in the newspapers and read sympathizes with him, so he would then brief but decided he discovered the true identity of Alex, from which the drugs and forces him to listen to Beethoven's Ninth. Alex has tried to commit suicide by jumping out the window, but to survive.

Eventually, Alex is hospitalized. DoctorsLudwig reverse modes so that he can once again hear Beethoven's Ninth and a negative reaction to violence. Alex ends up working for the Interior Minister, who had approved the procedure that nearly killed him in order to restore the minister in public.
