Great! I use this blender to make a vegetable drink, albeit one that is not Pasteurized. Pasteurization kills a lot of the good stuff. I include vines and leaves and seeds and ice cubes. After less than a minute of blending on high, everything is chopped, diced, minced, and Waringized to a puree! No chunks. No pieces remain on the bottom. The smell mentioned above is simply ozone. All electric motors generate ozone, and the more powerful the motor, the more ozone generated. Noise: one above stated it has a high noise level; I use 2-stroke chainsaws and pneumatic jack-hammers, and I have attended the 1/4-mile drag races at Englishtown, New Jersey–is it that loud?
