This thing is great! I previously had a typical kitchen blender, but had the priviledge of using a friend’s Vita-mix for a few weeks…I thought it would be exactly the same, but it isn’t…in a good way. There is a slight learning curve, but not much. The good differences are: ease of cleaning, for sure! Size! Also, it has pre-programmed cycles, AS WELL AS a pulse up and pulse down button so that one can manually blend. The only thing I have not figured out is why it tells me digitally how many cycles it has run? Anyone know offhand?I highly recommend this! Loving the fresh veggie smoothies that are SOOOO SMOOTH.

Fantastic blender, that makes super smooth drinks every time. I use mine several times a week for smoothies, usually with 2 handfuls of ice. I have NEVER had a stray piece of ice left in 3 years! The Carafe will need replacing at some point, in fact I’m buying my first replacement today but considering the power this puts out that’s really pretty good. While I’m not sure of it, the carafe looks alot like the ones they use at Jamba Juice, they sure blend that well. Every time I make blended drinks, people comment on how good they turn out. My ONE complaint is that this thing is really loud. If you have a sleeping family do yourself a favor and wait till they wake up. It’s loud enough that you can not hear someone talking next …
