Moon [Blu-ray] Review
After reading some reviews by others, both positive, and negative, I decided to see this movie.I absolutely loved this movie, and my only regret is not watching it sooner.
This movie is total Brain Candy, meaning it makes you think.Eye Candy is nice, but Brain Candy is more addicting, and much better for you.
This movie truly does require that you pay attention. If you miss a little, you will actually miss a lot.
As stated in other reviews, this movie is “slow” as in Silent Running, and 2001: A Space Odyssey, and they’re right. THAT’S THE POINT.
If you’re a fan of 2001, and/or Silent Running, this movie is for you.
Sam Rockwell’s performance is absolutely amazing. He plays “Sam Bell,” and also “Sam Bell.” Briefly, and near the end of the movie, he also plays “Sam Bell.” (If you watch the movie, you’ll understand the statement)
Kevin Spacey’s voice …
Batman Begins (Limited Edition Gift Set) [Blu-ray] Review
in my mind,Batman Begins is easily one of the best superhero movies ever made.the movie basically tells the story of the genesis of the caped crusader.obviously, there is a fair amount of character development involved, which you would expect based on the title.but not so much that the film becomes tedious.Batman is shown as more of a full dimensional character than in previous incarnations..Director Christopher Nolan shows great skill as a director, pacing the film very well.there are also some touches of humour throughout and we get to see a more human side to Bruce Wayne. The villains are also more fully realized than in most movies of the genre, instead of simply being devices for the hero(the protagonist)to have a villain(antagonist)to defeat.Gary Oldman and Morgan Freeman are standouts in their respective roles,as is Liam Neeson.Katie Holmes has yet to reach the level of maturity require for her …

Rambo [Blu-ray] Review
This movie was just great. One of my favorites, and I didn’t like any of the other Rambo movies. There is meaning behind this one. Anti-christian I thought which was fine with me. Yeah Rambo can’t be killed, but he’s Rambo. Probably the most violent movie I’ve ever seen (it makes the Texas chainsaw massacre look like those old movies where they would pretend to be stabbed by putting the sword under their arms) and it starts off with what I think is actual footage of beheaded bodies, and corpses and stuff. Basically a group of christians get knocked off their high horses by a big dose of reality. They go off getting into to things they have nothing to do with and get kidnapped by some tough customers. The leader of their church hires some mercinaries (funny I thought) to save them. Anyway it’s up to …
